SPECIALISED SERVICES

Every HS Vision Group centre is individual and specialized for the area in which it operates and the types of children who will attend. Modern society, for instance, is a melting pot of different cultures and we cater for those varying cultural backgrounds. We celebrate this diversity and offer varied cultural experiences so children can appreciate and respect the world around them. Our centres are staffed by highly skilled and specialised personnel, individually selected and then trained to our high quality standards. We are able to offer an internationally recognized and accredited training program in which staff members attain a Diploma of Child Care. This in-house training program ensures all staff offer the same high level of service.

Our over-riding philosophy is to provide a childcare environment in which every parent has confidence, trust and respect, and in which every child finds enjoyment, confidence and that same level of trust.
We constantly ask two questions as we develop our programs and environments: is it in the best interest of the child, and is it the best we can do? In every instance, the answer to both questions must be “yes”.

We strive to provide a warm, welcoming and safe environment in which parents and staff can work together to help every child achieve his or her full potential at his or her own pace. This includes children with additional needs. Our programs actively encourage individual children to appreciate themselves as a special person, different from everybody else, yet also belonging to a group.

We own and operate boutique early childhood centres in Australia and New Zealand. Based on our years of experience and success within these communities, we believe there is an opportunity now to expand our specialized service into America for the benefit of American parents and children, and the early childhood industry as a whole.

OUR DIFFERENCE

So how are we different? We are different because our children (and the families who love and support them) are our major focus. We don’t merely offer a “babysitting service” for children of working parents. We work as a dedicated team for the overall happiness and well-being of the children and parents of the centre, actively encouraging parent interest and participation.

Just as every adult is different, every child is different and has unique needs. At each centre, enormous time and effort goes into the creation of programs that cater for these differences and needs, while teaching valuable life skills.
At Pelicans, our centres in Australia, our slogan is Learning For Life. This epitomizes our high level of service – our children are nurtured and cared for yet also taught simple skills to help them through early life. We develop flexible programs that meet the needs and interests of every child, and allow him or her to develop skills, abilities and attitudes that lay the foundation for learning. We encourage independence, choices, self-skills and co-operative behaviour.
